Nobody Knows What's Around The Corner...

Power Moves only exists in its first issue at the moment, the starting point of an unfinished series about struggles for power, and the perceptions of power. Set in Los Angeles, the city with so many façades that anything is believable, the story used "superpowers" with a co-dependent twist to begin to examine themes of ambition, motivation, responsibility and destiny.

There are no plans to continue Power Moves at this time. If you are curious as to what would happen in subsequent issues, or which people in real life any of the characters were inspired by, please and I may or may not tell you something truthful.

"Paul's an interesting case. He's definitely in the semi-pro verging on pro category.... POWER MOVES #1 is one of Paul Sloboda's contributions this year from Fool's Gold Press... It's really pretty well developed. You could give this to a DC editor as a blueprint for another artist to draw from and I bet it would find an audience. Really amazing use of black and white. I can heartily recommend his entire output with the caveat that he is going to leave you hanging.
