FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
October 29, 2008

Who asks these questions?

Why aren't they better questions?

And how come these questions over here aren't being answered -- isn't that questionism?

1. What is Fool's Gold Press?

It's a fancy way to say "comics created by Paul Sloboda". It might be French.

2. Why minicomics? Why don't you do real comics, printed on a press, solicited through Diamond, available in all fine independent comic shops?

Because they're low-cost, I'm chickenshit, I can't afford it, I want to own it, the minis look pretty good, who's to say I'm publishable, I don't take criticism well even though I know I should learn to, what kind of format would it be, and I dunno, do you think I could?

3. Are you planning on doing a webcomic?

Why? Would you rather read comics online for free, than pay for them in print?

4. What's wrong with that?

Nothing, I guess. The theory goes that if you like what you read, maybe someday you'll shell out cash for a copy of it, or other merchandise. Someday.

5. Doesn't that answer sound kind of passive-aggressive?

No, you've read me all wrong. This is all new to me.

6. Would you like me to ask you an easy one, you timid halfwit?

Would you? That would be nice.

7. What's for dinner?

Lamb! I think.

Thanks for your time and understanding.
Someone will be with you, shorty.
